About Linda Samples
Linda A. Samples was born and raised in El Paso. Ms. Samples graduated from Canutillo High School and was elected to serve on the Canutillo I.S.D. Board of Trustees while attending the University of Texas at El Paso.
She obtained her law degree from the University of Michigan and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2006 and the State Bar of New Mexico in 2024.
Ms. Samples has represented homebuilders, most of the school districts in the region, the City of El Paso, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at El Paso and served as the Las Cruces City Attorney.
Ms. Samples served as Treasurer of the State Bar of Texas Government Council and Chair of the State Bar’s Women in the Profession Committee.
Ms. Samples’ current practice focuses on Labor and Employment, Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Defense.
